# 📤 How to Share Projects and Folders

## Learn how to share individual projects or entire folders with your team or external partners.

### 🖱️ Step 1: Share a Project

1. Hover over the **project card**.
2. Open the **three-dot menu** → click **Share**.
3. A list of your **team members** will appear.
4. Select members to share with.

### 📧 Step 2: Share with a Partner via Email

- Enter a partner’s **email address**.
- If they have an **Eino account**, it will be detected automatically.
- If not, the invite will still be sent, but the access will be **View-only**.

### 📂 Step 3: Share an Entire Folder

1. Create a **new folder** (subfolders are also supported).
2. Open the **three-dot menu** on the folder.
3. Click **Share** and invite members — same workflow as projects.

### 🔄 Step 4: Automatic Sharing of Folder Contents

- Any project you **move into a shared folder** is automatically shared with the same users.
- Example:
  
    - Move a project from **Room** → **Test folder**.
    - The project inherits the sharing permissions of the folder.

✅ Use **project sharing** for one-off collaboration, or **folder sharing** for ongoing teamwork where all future projects inside the folder are automatically visible to collaborators.
