📡 How to Manually Place APs and Plan a Network

🛠️ Step 1: Launch the Hardware Panel

• Click on Hardware in the top menu

• Or press H on your keyboard

📡 Step 2: Add an Access Point

• Choose Wi-Fi or Cellular

• Select your vendor and model (e.g., Cambium E410)

• Set configuration:

  • Height

  • Band & Power

  • Channel selection

  • Antenna type

  • Custom name

🗺️ Step 3: Place the AP

• Click Add AP

• Click on the map to place it where you want

• A heatmap is automatically generated for each placed AP

✏️ Step 4: Edit Configuration

• Click on an AP to rename or reconfigure it

• Adjust transmit power, height, channels, etc.

• Click Update to apply changes — heatmap updates in real-time
