# 🪟 How to Add Windows and Doors

## Create, place, and adjust windows and doors in your design, then visualize them in 3D.

### ✏️ Step 1: Add a Window Type

1. Go to the **Wall** section.
2. If you have **predefined windows**, you can use one — or click to **add a new type**.
3. Set the following:
   
     - **Material** (e.g., Glass)
     - **Thickness**
     - **Bottom height** and **Top height**  
       *Example:* Bottom = `3 ft`, Top = `7 ft`
4. Click **Save**.

### 🖊️ Step 2: Place the Window

- **Double-click** in the wall to place the window.
- Repeat double-click for additional placements.

### 📏 Step 3: Adjust Window Width

1. Select the placed window.
2. Change its **width** (e.g., `3 ft` → `10 ft`).
3. Click **Save**.

### 🧭 Step 4: View Window in 3D

- Switch to **3D View** to see the window in your model.

### 🚪 Step 5: Add a Door Type

1. In the **Wall** section, click to **add a door type**.
2. Set:
   
     - **Material** (e.g., Wood)
     - **Thickness**
     - **Bottom height** and **Top height**
3. Click **Save**.

### 🖊️ Step 6: Place the Door

- **Double-click** in the wall to place the door.
- Adjust placement as needed.

### 📏 Step 7: Adjust Door Width

1. Select the placed door.
2. Change its **width**.
3. Click **Save**.

### 🧭 Step 8: View Door in 3D

- Press **Escape** to exit placement mode.
- Switch to **3D View** to see the door in the model.
