🌍 How to Create a Project Using DSM Files in eino.ai
Import elevation data and boundary polygons to generate a 3D terrain-backed design environment.
📁 Step 1: Start a New Project
-
Click on “New Project” at the top of the screen
-
In the project setup modal, you’ll need two files:
-
A DSM file (in TIFF format)
-
A GeoJSON file that defines your boundary
-
🌍 Step 2: Upload DSM and GeoJSON
-
Add your DSM (TIFF) first
-
Then upload the GeoJSON boundary file
-
You can skip the DTM file — eino.ai automatically generates it based on the DSM
⏱️ Step 3: Wait for Terrain Processing
-
The platform will process the DSM and generate 3D elevation data
-
This usually takes just a few minutes
🔍 Step 4: Explore Terrain in 3D
-
Zoom in to explore ups and downs of the terrain
-
You’ll see physical elevation contours and building heights
📏 Step 5: Use the Measurement Tool
-
Open the Measurement Tool
-
Hover your mouse to see:
-
Surface height (from DSM)
-
Terrain height (DTM estimate)
-
-
Great for validating elevation data accuracy at specific points
