# 🤖 How to Place APs Using AI

## Use AI-assisted planning to automate AP placement based on your coverage and design requirements — including height, EIRP, and channel configuration.

### ✨ Step 1: Open the AI Placement Tool

- Click on the **AI icon** in the top toolbar
- Select **“Place APs”**
- Remove previous APs if needed using **“Delete & Replace”**

### 📶 Step 2: Choose Technology and Hardware

- Select the **technology** (e.g., CBRS, Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G)
- Pick the **hardware model** (from your defined inventory)

### ⚙️ Step 3: Define AI Design Criteria

Set your planning rules:

- **Minimum RSRP or RSSI threshold** (e.g., -101 dBm)
- **Coverage target** (e.g., 95% of area)
- **Max number of APs** (optional)
- **Height**, **Channel**, **Bandwidth**, and **Max EIRP**

### ▶️ Step 4: Run AI Planning

- Click **Next**
- If capacity hasn’t been defined, it will default to **coverage-only** mode
- The platform automatically generates a network plan

### 🧭 Step 5: Review and Adjust Placement

- Once APs are placed:
  
    - Select and manually **move** them if needed
    - Or **enable/disable** APs individually to test variations
