📡 How Automatic Channel Assignment Works

⚙️ Step 1: View Available Channels

• Click the gear icon in the top toolbar

• The Channel Availability Panel opens

  • For Wi-Fi: view channels and supported widths (e.g., 20/40/80 MHz)

  • For LTE/5G: view licensed spectrum and available bands

🚫 Step 2: Modify Spectrum Availability

• Deselect channels or bands that are unavailable in your environment

  • Example: unlicensed 5 GHz channels blocked due to DFS

• The platform recalculates availability accordingly

➕ Step 3: Add or Move APs

• When you add or reposition an AP, eino.ai:

  • Re-runs channel assignment

  • Selects the best available option based on current AP layout, channel reuse, and spectrum rules
