AI Layout Generation creates optimized access point layouts in seconds, giving you a complete starting point to refine rather than building from scratch. Choose location-based generation if you have a site, or description-based generation for early-stage projects.

What you'll need:

- Active eino account with Full AI license
- Project location OR project specifications (square footage, environment type)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open AI Layout Generation

Open AI Layout Generation from the new project menu or tools panel. You'll see two options: select a specific location on the map, or describe your project without a location.

2. Location-Based Generation

Use this when you know where the project is:

- Search for an address or navigate on the map
- Draw a boundary around the area you want to cover (click 4-6 points)
- Select the environment type: Warehouse, Retail, Office, or Outdoor
- Click Generate
- The AI analyzes the space and places access points optimized for that environment

3. Description-Based Generation

Use this for early-stage projects without a confirmed site:

- Enter the project size in square feet
- Select the environment type
- Add special requirements (e.g., high ceilings, heavy machinery)
- Click Generate
- Apply the layout to any floor plan later when you get site details

4. Refine the Layout

The generated layout is your starting point, not your final answer:

- Click any AP to select it
- Drag to reposition
- Adjust coverage parameters
- Add obstacles or walls
- Watch the coverage heatmap update in real time
