🧱 How to Add and Edit Walls
Define wall materials, draw custom layouts, and batch-edit obstructions to model real-world indoor RF performance.
🚫 Step 1: Turn Off the Heatmap

Disabling it prevents unnecessary recalculations while drawing walls.
✏️ Step 2: Add a Wall Type

Go to the Wall Tool (or press W).

Click Add Wall Type:

Example: Concrete

Set thickness per foot and height

Click Save — this creates a wall template
🧱 Step 3: Draw the Wall

Select your wall type
-
Click once to create an elbow (turning point)

Double-click to finish the wall

Repeat as needed with other materials (e.g., Drywall)
🖱️ Step 4: Adjust and Refine Walls

Click on the last point to remove it if needed

Press Esc once:

You're still in wall mode, but can now select/move/adjust walls

🔲 Step 5: Box-Select and Bulk Edit Walls

Drag-select walls
-
Edit based on:
-
Material
-
Height
-
Thickness
-
-
If selected walls have mixed types, you can still apply a uniform update
⚙️ Step 6: Use the Wall Menu

Use the 3-dot menu on any wall group
-
Apply new materials or thickness globally
🧭 Step 7: View in 3D

Switch to 3D View to visualize wall placement and height
✅ Step 8: Re-enable the Heatmap

Once drawing is complete, turn heatmap back on

The RF model is updated based on your newly placed walls
